GARDEN CITY, KS, September 12, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Elizabelle E. MacKenzie, English Language Tutor at Garden City Community College, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in English education.
Ms. MacKenzie is a professional in the field of education with more than four decades of experience. For the past four years, she as served as an English language tutor at Garden City Community College. She specializes in helping students with reading and writing. Known for her patient nature, she assists students in learning how to read English, study more effectively and write better papers. Ms. MacKenzie aspires to establish her own tutoring business in the near future.
In 1975, Ms. MacKenzie earned a master's degree in English with an emphasis in elementary education from Emporia State University. In 1991, she received a special recognition in a Title 1 Reading Program and a Poetry Alive Award in the state of North Carolina. Ms. MacKenzie is a member of Phi Delta Kappa International and an advanced speaker for Toastmasters International. She also volunteers as the treasurer of St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
