Mark Treanor Demonstrates 35 Years of Excellence in Education

NISKAYUNA, NY, July 14, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ --Mark Treanor, Vice Principal of Niskayuna High School, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in educational administration.
Growing up, Mr. Treanor always knew he wanted to be an educator. Fast forward 35 years, and he is making an impression on the students of Niskayuna High School. For the past six years, he has functioned as both the vice principal of the school and the dean of ninth-grade students. He shares in the supervision and observation of all staff members, organizes the driver's education program, and oversees clubs and extracurricular activities. His passion is evident in his commitment to delivering quality education and administration. For his efforts, he was named Capitol District Educator of the Year in 2001 and Community Role Model of the Year in 2007.
Mr. Treanor holds a Master of Education from The College of Saint Rose (1982) and a Bachelor of Science in education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst (1976). Further, he is recognized by the state of New York as a certified administrator. To remain current with his industry he is a member of the Empire State Supervisors and Administrators Association. Looking forward, he intends to obtain a position as principal to continue providing outstanding education.
