Floris Dunn Featured in Prestigious Cambridge Who's Who Registry
Floris J. Dunn was honored as the Mentor of the Year by the Chautauqua Striders
JAMESTOWN, NY, June 22, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Floris J. Dunn, Sub-Paraprofessional at Jamestown Public Schools and Co-Coordinator at Angel Food Ministries, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in teaching and mentoring.
A deeply motivated individual, Ms. Dunn has dedicated her career to helping children learn. At Jamestown Public Schools, where she works as a sub-paraprofessional, she assists teachers in the instruction of spelling and grammar. She is also active in her community and serves as a co-coordinator with Angel Food Ministries, a nonprofit, nondenominational group that provides food relief to people throughout the United States.
In addition, Ms. Dunn started the Fresh Start Women's Jail Ministry and tutors for The Laubach Literacy International Instructional Program at her local library. She was named the Mentor of the Year by Chautauqua Striders, as well as the Laity Person of the Year, and she attributes her success to her faith in God.
