ALLEN, TX, November 8, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Caroline E. Donald, Educator at Evans Elementary School, has been named a Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Elementary Education. While inclusion in the Cambridge Who's Who Registry is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership.
An expert in singing and music instruction, Ms. Donald possesses nearly 25 years of experience in the field of elementary education. For the past four years, she has utilized her skills at Evans Elementary School, which is part of the Allen Independent School District. Her role primarily entails teaching music to students in kindergarten through the sixth grade. Ms. Donald credits her success to her passion for education and the support of her mentors and colleagues. She intends to continue in her current capacity moving forward.
Ms. Donald holds a Master of Music from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Bachelor of Arts in music education from Drake University. In 1993, she was the recipient of the Campus Teacher of the Year Award as well as a second Teacher of the Year Award granted by an elementary school district.
