Christina Robinson Grochett Named a VIP of the Year for Excellence in Education
Christina Robinson Grochett leads the Gulf Coast region territory for University of Phoenix

HOUSTON, TEXAS, October 19, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Christina Robinson Grochett, Territory Vice President for University of Phoenix, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in education management.

With nearly two decades of professional experience, Grochett has cultivated her expertise in change management, employee development and organizational growth. She has utilized her skills in the field of education for the past eight years. As a Territory Vice President for University of Phoenix, she is responsible for overseeing more than 600 employees along the Gulf Coast of Texas and in Louisiana.

In recognition of her work, Grochett was recently distinguished as a VIP of the Year by Cambridge Who's Who. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown commitment to achieving personal and professional success. Grochett attributes her success to her networking skills and passion for her profession. She has also received a number of accolades for her service to the community. In 2010, she was honored with a Sloan Award from the City of Houston, a Good Neighbor Award from Spring Branch ISD and an Inspiring Woman of Texas Award from Sterling Bank. She was also named one of the 50 Most Influential in Women in Houston.

Grochett received a master's degree in organizational management from University of Phoenix in 2005. She joined the University after working in staffing for many years. Grochett is affiliated with ABWA and serves as an education board member for the Greater Houston Partnership.
