The aftermath of massive flooding and water damage to buildings throughout the Capital District and neighboring states will be MOLD. This 4 day Seminar is designed to train workers in proper handling and remediation of mold infested areas.

ATSCO provides Professional IICRC Training Seminars. The Applied Mold Remediation Technician Seminar is a 4 day Course leading to the AMRT Nationally Recognized Certification.

The course will be offered on Monday, October 10 through Thursday, October 13th, 2011. In addition to about 20 hours of classroom instruction, students will have the opportunity to build different types of containment structures in extensive hands-on exercises. Topics covered will include basic Microbiology, Biocide Uses, Containment Options, Mold and Sewage Remediation Procedures, Documentation and Pricing of Mold Remediation Jobs and Safety. The IICRC Certification for Water Restoration Technician (WRT) is a pre-requisite for this class.

Many of the people who have taken this course in the past are doing much of the Mold Remediation work in the Capital District following Hurricane Irene.
