The company has long supported the Salvation Army because the largest percentage of donations goes directly to the people who need the support. Eight thousand housing units were torn to shreds by the treacherous tornado that destroyed the city of Joplin in the month of May. The toll includes both homes and apartments, leaving a surplus of devastated citizens.
