Darrel Lall's expertise is in psychotherapy

BERRlEN SPRINGS, MI September 1, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Darrel Lall, Intern at The Family Center, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in his career.

An intern at The Family Center, Mr. Lall attributes his success to his faith in God and the dynamic consistency and avid support he receives from his family, friends, relatives and professors. His day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to: providing mental healthcare, analyzing the relationship between mind-body interaction as it relates to behavioral problems, developing and implementing coping strategies to assist clients with specific mental illnesses, conduct training programs, implementing behavior modification techniques and programs, and utilizing a variety of theoretical systems while applying them appropriately to the development of treatment plans. Prior to his current position, he worked in areas of administration, management, supervision, teaching, and direct patient care.

Mr. Lall is a psychology graduate student with Northcentral University. In 1997, Mr. Lall received a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Behavioral Science from Andrews University. He has since then received many certificates of achievements from the United States Institute of Peace; John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health; Institute for Global Tobacco Control at John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health; North Carolina Institute for Public Health Gillings School of Global Public Health, University of North Carolina; The Royal College of Psychiatrists; Michigan State University, College of Nursing; Michigan Department of Community Health; National Cancer Institute; Assisted Living University; Kalamazoo CMH Services Training Center; Harcourt Learning Direct; Zur Institute, and Lakeland Regional Health System.

Mr. Lall is a member of the National Honor & Merit Scholars Society, Golden Key International Honors Society, Pi Gamma Mu, Kappa Omicron Nu, Society for Christian Psychologists, and MERLOT: Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching. He is affiliated with the American Psychological Association of Graduate Students (APAGS), and the American Geriatrics Society.

The Family Center is a private, nonprofit community counseling agency that is dedicated to helping people create positive changes in their lives. The Family Center believes in a nonjudgmental approach to working with people in providing enrichment alternatives for families and professionals.
