Mary Fran Kaminski celebrates six years as an education specialist for Sacred Heart Hospital

ALLENTOWN, PA, August 30, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Mary Fran Kaminski, Education Specialist for Sacred Heart Hospital, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in nursing education.

With six years of experience as an education specialist for Sacred Heart Hospital, Mary Fran Kaminski is responsible for teaching and mentoring nursing and hospital staff members, evaluating the competency of nurses and staff members, reviewing charts of stroke patients, and advising on treatment options. She became involved in her profession because of the exceptional care she received from a nursing staff that inspired her to become a nurse, and she attributes her success to her passion for her profession and the support she receives from her mentors.

Ms. Kaminski received a Bachelor of Science in Health Arts from the University of St. Francis in 2004. In addition to her formal education, she became a pediatric advanced life support instructor in 1997, a certified critical care registered nurse in 1983, a certified basic life support instructor through the American Heart Association, Inc., and an advanced cardiac life support instructor. She is a member of the Preventive Cardiovascular Nurses Association, the American Hospital Association, the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, the American Nurses Association, and the American Heart Association, Inc.
