In 1997, Linda Ward received the The Crystal Apple Award for Outstanding Service

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO, August 30, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Linda Ward, Library Technology Educator for Colorado Springs School District Eleven, was recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in education.

Ms. Ward has 33 years of overall professional experience, and' has been with Colorado Springs School District Eleven for her entire career. She was a classroom teacher for 23 years and a Library Technology Educator, for the past 10 years. As a Library Technology Educator she is, responsible for training teachers and students on new technology programs, and collaborating with classroom teachers on lessons that incorporate technology and library skills into their learning activities.

In 1983, Ms. Ward earned a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from The Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She received the School District 11Crystai Apple Award for outstanding teaching in 1997.
