As a student teacher, Ms. Sherfey attributes her success to the support of her family. She became involved in her profession because her grandfather was an educator and the most gratifying aspect of her career is watching her students learn and grow.

Ms. Sherfey graduated Chadron State College with a Bachelor of Science in Special Education, Mild and Moderate. She received a second Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Chadron State College.

A frequent contributor, Ms. Sherfey donates to the Lisco Arena Club is a member with the Nebraska State Education Association. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
