Sandra Elliott Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional and Entrepreneurial Registry

/Education News Articles/ - Houston, TX, June 21, 2008, Sandra Elliott, Lecturer at Rice University, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of higher education.

With five years of experience in higher education, Ms. Elliott has been in her current position at Rice University for two years. She is considered an expert in change management, conducting presentations, training, composition, pedagogy, rhetoric, strategic communication and writing. As a lecturer, her responsibilities include teaching writing, leadership and strategic communications, conducting presentations and overseeing the Master of Business Administration students' internship program. She attributes her success to her work experience.

Ms. Elliott received her Master of Arts in English from the University of North Texas in 2000 and her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Houston in 1993. She is a recipient of the Faculty Excellence Award at Lone Star College-CyFair in 2006 from the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development and the Faculty Excellence Award for the Women's Studies Program at the University of North Texas in 1996. Ms. Elliott is also a member of the American Society for Training and Development and the American Federation of Teachers, and hopes to one day teach underrepresented groups.
