/Education News Articles/ - Huntersville, NC, May 15, 2008, Lin McAuley, Kindergarten Teacher for Huntersville Elementary School of Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in primary education.

Ms. McAuley has 10 years of experience in education and three years of experience at her current position. She excels in elementary music education. Her regular duties include teaching music, calendar ideas, reading and responding, phonics, long and short vowel patterns, word patterns including beginning, middle and end words, site words, visualizing, storytelling, writing with the Lucy Calkins Program, science, social studies, computers, art, math and physical education.

A product of the University of North Carolina, Charlotte, Ms. McAuley holds a Master's Degree in Reading and a Bachelor of Arts in History. In her spare time, she volunteers with the Huntersville Presbyterian Church. She loves her job and looks forward to more years teaching kindergarten.
